I recently had a paper jam problem with the Canon ImageClass MF3240. I followed all the possible fix to remove the jam, but after clearing the paper in all access doors, the printer still gives the paper jam error. Restarted the printer several times to no avail and the red light keeps blinking. Well here is something not suggested in the manual.

1. Turn off your printer.
2. Pull off all plugs attached to your printer back.
3. Remove the paper tray to look for the sensor located underneath the printer.
4. Get a flashlight and look closely. The sensor is located in a small hole, just above the small plastic "lever" (looks like a small hockey paddle) on the left side of the gray rubber roller.
5. There is a tiny paper shred stuck inside and this causes the sensor to detect a paper jam.
6. Get a small tweezer to remove that paper.
7. Return all cables and start your printer and that's it!

Hope this helps you as it saved me a big headache.

Even if the toner is new or full, the Brother HL-2140 stops printing. This is one common problem to this model. Here is what you need to do:
1. Turn off your printer
2. Take out the toner.
3. On both sides of the toner, you will see a small hole - this is the sensor.
4. Cover the sensor with masking tape and color the tape with black marker. you can also use electrical tape to cover them.

You can only be able to place pictures which came from the internet. In other words, the picture that you want to place inside the email body should have a URL or the exact web address of that particular image file. To explain this further, open your yahoo email and compose a newemail.

You need to select the image to HIGHLIGHT the picture (click and drag to highlight). Then press ctrl + c to copy (do not right click the image). Then go back to your yahoo mail and right click on the area where you want to paste it and then choose paste.

1. Connect your camera by plugging in your camera's cable into the usb port of your computer.

2. Turn on the camera so that the computer will detect the new usb device.

3. Open your Windows Explorer. Click Start >> Run and type "explorer" (without the quotes); or right click your start button and click Explore.

4. Under My Computer, look for the drive letter for your camera and click it to show the contents to the right.

If plugged in the first time, the external drive needs to be initialized from your computer. Here are the steps.

1. If you have a disc cleaning disc, try to play it and let it spin in your cdrom for a minute. Then play again. If that does not work,

2. You might need to open up your CD Rom's casing and clean the lens manually. Unscrew the plastic plate that covers the lens. Get a soft cotton bud or a Q tip and slightly wet it with alcohol. Gently wipe the lens. Make sure you let it dry. Return everything back and try playing CD and DVD again.

The Canon MX700 5100 error indicates that there is something that might be causing obstruction between the rollers. Check for small paper shreds that might get stuck. If there are no obstruction, then this error can be caused of the white sliding thing where the printhead rests when the printer is not in use; it needs to be lubricated. Try to lubricate also the sliders with some grease so that the mechanism can now slide freely. You need to open the right panel of the printer by unscrewing the 2 screws to take it out.

Here are the steps how to set your time and date to your Ipod Classic:

Formatting your MP3 player is very simple. You just have to plug it into your computer's USB port. Once your computer detected your MP3 player as the new usb device, it will pop up the green icon on your lower right corner of your screen.

When pressing the eject button, the CD tray wont open.

Solution:

There is actually a small pin hole on the cd drive. Whilst the laptop is turned on, you just have to push a paper clip or any pointed object to that hole. That would eject your CD tray manually. Hope this helps.
